The Springo Blog recently had an opportunity to talk with Springo CFO and Executive VP and mother of two, Nelly Schwartz, to ask her about the new Springo Parents Homepage and how she has used it in her everyday life.

Springo Blog: Hi Nelly! First, have you found the Springo Parents Homepage helpful and if so, how have you used it?

Nelly: Hello Springo Blog! Thank you for the chance to talk about the Springo Parents Homepage. I have really enjoyed using the Parents Homepage these past few weeks. For those who aren’t familiar with it, the Parents Homepage has all the top websites for parents, neatly presented on one page. It has not only saved me time, but it has also introduced me to a few new sites that I had never used before.

Springo Blog: That’s great! Can you give us an example of a time when you used it?

Nelly: I have found it very useful when looking for health websites. For me, I find it very frustrating to look for health information online, in part because there are so many websites that claim to offer health information. With the Springo Parents Homepage, I could see immediately which are the most popular websites that people use.

Springo Blog: Have you discovered any new websites?

Nelly: I have, actually! CafeMom within the Parenting Resources category, allows me to participate in discussions on daily challenges concerning my kids.

Springo Blog: What do you like best about the Parents Homepage?

Nelly: First, it’s a very attractive page and works well on my iPad. The logos are recognizable and it’s much quicker to use than typing in a URL into the browser, or typing a website name into Google when I can’t remember exactly how to write out the URL. It is like a one-stop-shop for my most frequent sites.

Springo Blog: As a parent, how do you use the Internet?

Nelly: I use the Internet for everything! From reading the financial news, to health information, to researching and of course, shopping (and investigating how to save money) for myself and my family. My kids are also Springo users — the homepage on our family PC is the Springo kids page. My five year-old doesn’t read yet, and loves visiting websites with Springo’s visual interface.
